These terms apply to the Bhachakram app and the website bhachakram.com, published by Suryakant Sharma under the name Velorix. By using the app you agree to them.
What Bhachakram is for
Bhachakram is a calculation tool for Vedic astrology, made for study, research and practice. It computes astronomical positions and the traditional astrological quantities derived from them.
The precision we describe applies to the astronomy and arithmetic only. We make no claim that any astrological interpretation, prediction or reading is accurate, and the app does not give medical, financial, legal or psychological advice. Don't rely on it for decisions in those areas; consult a qualified professional instead.
Your use of the app
- The app is free to use for personal and professional practice.
- You are responsible for the birth data you enter, and for having permission to store other people's details.
- Don't reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the app or its calculation engine, except where the law allows it.
Ownership
The app, its calculation engine, the Bhachakram name and logo belong to Suryakant Sharma. Third-party data and software included in the app remain under their own licences; see Credits.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We test the calculations carefully, but we can't guarantee they are free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or website.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
